On April 15, 2026, at the France Chimie General Assembly in Paris, Humens officially signed the Supplier Relations & Responsible Procurement Charter (RFAR). This collective signature, alongside 28 other companies in the chemical industry, marks a concrete step in the Group's commitment to a more responsible and sustainable procurement policy.
Supported by the Business Mediation Service and the National Procurement Council (CNA), the RFAR Charter currently brings together more than 2,200 signatories from both the private and public sectors. It is built around 10 commitment principles designed to structure supplier relationships based on trust, transparency and ethics. Signatories commit to a process of continuous improvement and develop a multi-year progress plan tailored to their own reality.
The signing ceremony brought together representatives from major French chemical companies, including Arkema, Solvay, TotalEnergies, Michelin and Sanofi, alongside new signatories of which Humens is now a part.
This signature goes beyond a formal commitment. In a context shaped by growing regulatory and geopolitical pressures, responsible procurement is a fully-fledged strategic lever. It helps secure supply chains, reduce the environmental footprint across the entire value chain, strengthen ethical and social practices among suppliers, and build more transparent and lasting relationships with partners.
By joining the RFAR signatory network, Humens also gains access to operational tools, training programmes and peer experience-sharing to structure and advance its procurement policy over time.
This commitment is part of the Group's broader CSR strategy, which aims to reconcile industrial performance with environmental and social responsibility.
