Biodiversity and sustainable industry
Protecting the natural environment around us is an integral part of our responsibility as a committed industrial group. Every day, our teams work to reduce our impacts (emissions, energy use, water consumption) while also maintaining and restoring the natural environments surrounding our sites.
To reconcile industrial operations with biodiversity preservation, we implement a structured approach based on the ERC sequence (Avoid, Reduce, Compensate), complemented by supporting measures and rigorous scientific monitoring.
At the Lenoncourt salt concession, we ensure that every intervention respects and protects local ecosystems. This includes planning works outside sensitive periods, preserving protected areas, and maintaining constant on-site vigilance to avoid altering biodiversity-friendly developments.
Our commitments do not stop at implementing measures: we ensure their long-term maintenance and evaluation.
